Task Summary All stech tasks

Use a piezo as a little speaker.

  • mini amplifier with output jack for external speaker;
  • piezo-electric disc;
  • plug to match amp output;
  • small audio output coupling transformer (RS 273-1380 or equivalent);
  • few feet of lightweight speaker cable or stranded hookup wire;
  • electrical tape;
  • can of plasti-dip;
  • small spring clamps;
  • sound source, such as a CD player and cable to connect it to the amp input;
  • optionally a female jack to match the plugs you are using.
